Preparing for your Visit During your visit students will reflect upon what happened on September 11th. Some of the events of the day and the aftermath will be shared in stories, images and objects. Students will be made aware of the loss of a unique community and catastrophic loss of life including the extraordinary number of people who rushed into danger to help others. Equally important, your students will explore how this tragedy has been the impetus for new empathy and sense of civic engagement around the world. Please extra time for travel delays in lower Manhattan. There are also no lunch facilities at the Tribute Center but nearby restaurants can accommodate groups. |
