Self-Guided Visit

Tribute Center contains five galleries that students explore together. The first gallery reflects on the lively World Trade Center community before the attacks, the second and third galleries reveal the events of the day and the recovery period as shared by the men and women that experienced them. The fourth gallery is a tribute to victims. The final downstairs gallery contains world responses and thoughtful meanings of September 11th. Several of these galleries contain short films.

When possible, a gallery guide may be available to talk with your group in the final gallery to share their personal story and answer questions.

Suggested Time: Self-guided visits range from 25 minutes to 60 minutes.

Price: $5.00 per student

Audio- Tour

The Spirit of Tribute is audio tour that takes your group outside and around the World Trade Center site. The group enters the World Financial Center to obtain a dramatic view looking down into the site. The audio tour weaves together several passionate stories as told by firefighters, survivors, neighborhood residents and recovery and volunteer workers. The stories, archival sounds and music connect the current physical landscape to past events. A map is provided to guide your path. The tour is available in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Chinese and English.

Suggested Time: The audio tour takes approximately 50 minutes to complete.

Price: $10.00 per student
