Self-Guided Visit

On a self-guided tour of the 9/11 Tribute Center, students grades 4 through 12 will experience the impact of September 11th through the stories of those who were there. Throughout the five galleries, exhibits use primary sources in the form of video, artifacts, images, and voices of those that experienced the events first hand, to tell the story of what happened on 9/11. The final gallery concludes with the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan and plans for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Visitor comments from around the world offer an inspirational end to this powerful visit.

Self-guided visits can be scheduled 10:00 am - 4:00 pm daily and last approximately 30 - 60 minutes.

Admission: $10 per student

Group Conversation with Tribute Guides

During the months of January, February, March and April, the 9/11 Tribute Center offers students grades 4 through 12 the opportunity to speak with one of our docents who will share their personal 9/11 experiences. Additionally, school groups may also choose to have a member of the education staff guide them through the galleries. These uplifting tours and conversations emphasize the value of community service during the recovery period and empower students to make a difference in their own communities.
