Booking Your Visit

 

To schedule a school group visit to the Tribute Center or for more information, please contact Group Reservation Services at 212-393-9160, ext. 132 or visitorservices@tributewtc.org.

School Group Rates:

Self-Guided Visit
$10 per person (approximately 30 minutes)
Self-Guided Visit followed by a Group Conversation with a Tribute Guide
Available January - April
$10 per person (approximately 40-50 minutes)
A Guided Visit followed by Group Conversation with a Tribute Guide
Available January - April
Accommodates up to 60 students plus chaperones
$10 per person* (60 – 75 minutes)
*NYC Public Schools are FREE

Hours of Operation for Groups:

Self-Guided Visit
10:00 am – 4:00 pm daily
Self-Guided Visit followed by a Group Conversation with a Tribute Guide
Monday – Friday, January – April
10:00 am - 11:30, and 11:30 – 1:00pm

Group Reservation Policy:

  • The Tribute Center serves grades 4-12.
  • Reservations are required for groups of 15 persons or more.
  • Reservations are not confirmed until a reservation form is completed, signed and faxed back to the Tribute Center fax number, 212-393-9163. An email confirming the visit will be sent no later than 1 week before the arrival date.
  • Payment may be submitted prior to group’s visit by check or credit card. Credit cards will only be charged on the day of arrival. Checks are processed only on the day of reservation.
  • 9/11 Tribute Center reserves the right to cancel reservations if the reservation policy is not followed.
  • 9/11 Tribute Center reserves the right to retain payment for visits cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time.
  • In the event of a change in group size, no refunds will be issued on the day of the visit for pre-drawn checks.
  • If the school group is more than 15 minutes late to the Docent Conversation and Guided Visit program, the 9/11 Tribute Center cannot guarantee a full quality program for the students.

Group Visit Guidelines:

  • Once your group arrives, please line up single file outside the Tribute Center. Please keep the side walk clear for pedestrian traffic.
  • The group leader should come into Tribute and let the staff know that the group is here, from that point ‘entrance pins’ will be issued to the group and they will be directed to the activity which was reserved.
  • Very large groups will be ‘paced in’ the galleries 40 persons at a time, with each group no more than five minutes apart.
